Our Adventure
The Fun Ticket is a 68-foot sports-fisher motor yacht. She was built for the owner of Bertram Yachts as a 58’ vessel in 1979. In 1980, 10-foot cockpit extension with fighting chair was added before she left the yard. A tuna-tower was added in 1993 in Puerto Rico. She has three staterooms, three heads and showers, a fully-equipped galley, large salon/dining and laundry closet. She can be driven from four different locations including an enclosed bridge (fore and aft), fly-bridge, and tuna-tower. The hull is solid fiberglass. She's quite famous in Puerto Rico where she served as a charter fishing boat for the casinos for several years, and is rumored to have been a favorite fishing charter of John F. Kennedy, Jr. With the two outriggers extended, you can easily troll seven lines behind the vessel and battle from the fighting chair on the lazarette deck. Down below, she has two 650hp twin-turbo-diesels that will cruise at 17-18 knots with 20 knots as the approximate top speed. She has three fuel tanks and can hold 2,100 gallons of fuel.
